Products

Only USB cash drawers need a certain driver to be installed. Here is the link: https://volcora.com/pages/support-center 

 

All other drawers are plug-and-play. No driver needed.

Yes, all Volcora auto open cash register drawers support most POS systems(Square, Toast, etc.) on the market, as long as you have the printer that supports RJ11/RJ12 cable connection.

However, Volcora USB Cash drawer(model:500060) does NOT support Square POS System.

If you purchased one of Volcora's auto-open cash drawer, you may utilize this guide to properly configure the connection between your cash drawer and the printer. Your cash drawer should be plugged directly into the back of your printer via an RJ11/RJ12 cable (these look similar to phone cables). Specific setups vary by your printer brand, we have listed setup information for Volcora, EPSON and Star Micronics printers. For other printer brands, please consult their respective technical support.

VOLCORA

  1. Ensure the cable is plugged into the correct port on the receipt printer.
  2. Ensure that the other end of the cable is plugged directly into the cash drawer.
  3. Go to Download Center to download Volcora Printer Driver and Testing Configuration tool .
  4. Once downloaded and installed, turn on your printer to ensure printer is connected and recognized.
  5. From the Windows search menu, search for Printers & scanners (or Devices & printers depending on the version of Windows).
  6. Click on your receipt printer in the list of printers and click Manage.
  7. Click on Printer preferences.
  8. Click on Advanced.
  9. You should see Paper/Tray tab and click on the dropdown list for Drawer Type.
  10. Select "Open Drawer Before Printing" or "Open Drawer After Printing" depending on your preference.
  11. Press Apply and OK to save the settings. 

EPSON

  1. Ensure the cable is plugged into the correct port on the receipt printer.
  2. Ensure that the other end of the cable is plugged directly into the cash drawer.
  3. Install Printer Driver if needed as instructed by your printer's manual.
  4. From the Windows search menu, search for Printers & scanners (or Devices & printers depending on the version of Windows).
  5. Click on your receipt printer in the list of printers and click Manage.
  6. Click on Printer preferences.
  7. Switch to the Peripherals tab.
  8. Select Cash Drawer from the drop-down list.
  9. If you want the drawer to open before the receipt is printed stay on the Document Top tab, otherwise, if you want the drawer to open after the receipt is printed switch to the Document Bottom tab.
  10. Set Cash Drawer #1 (2 pins) to Open and set Cash Drawer #2 (5 pins) to Open.
  11. Press Apply and OK to save the settings. 

Star Micronics

  1. Ensure the cable is plugged into the correct port on the receipt printer.
  2. Ensure that the other end of the cable is plugged directly into the cash drawer.
  3. Install Printer Driver if needed as instructed by your printer's manual.
  4. From the Windows search menu, search for Printers & scanners (or Devices & printers depending on the version of Windows).
  5. Click on your receipt printer in the list of printers and click Manage.
  6. Click on Printer properties.
  7. Switch to the Device Settings tab.
  8. Check the following:
    1. Peripheral Unit Type should be set to Cash Drawer.
    2. Peripheral Unit 1 should be set to Document Top if you want the drawer to open before the receipt is printed, or Document Bottom, if you want the drawer to open after the receipt is printed.
    3. Do the same for Peripheral Unit 2.
  9. Press OK to save the settings.

Printer Not On The List?

Please refer to your printer manual or contact your printer's tech support for exact instruction on the setup. Unfortunately, Volcora support will not be able to assist further in this case, thank you for your understanding.

Yes, Volcora offers the whole solution to cash management. Besides what we have now, we will provide printers, cash counters and other hardware products in the near future. 

Shipping

It depends on where you are. Orders processed here will take 3-7 business days to arrive. Overseas deliveries can take anywhere from 7-16 days. Delivery details will be provided in your confirmation email.

Overview

 

All orders are processed within 3 to 5 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. 

 

Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates

 

We offer free shipping on all cash register drawers. Shipping charges for other items will be calculated and displayed at checkout. At this moment, we offer $12.90 flat rate standard shipping to all US customers with purchase value of $0-$75, and free shipping for orders over $75. (Subject to change) 

 

Local delivery

Unfortunately, local delivery is not available, but will be introduced in the future. 

 

In-store pickup

International Shipping

At this time, we do not ship to select countries. Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout if available. 

 

Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Volcora is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.

 

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. 

 

If you haven’t received your order within 14 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at info@volcora.com with your name and order number, and we are more than happy to look into it for you.

Returns

Refund policy

 

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. Items due to quality issue are eligible for free return, other reasons may be charged a calculated shipping fee. 

 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. Failure to return in same condition as received will not be refunded or result in repackage/restock fee starting at 15% of original purchase price, at discretion upon quality checks. Failure to return in its original packaging will result in repackage fee at 15% of original purchase price. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. If you request for the return label from Volcora, you have to return the items within 14 days after you receive the return label.

 

To start a return, you can contact us at info@volcora.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

 

 

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

 

 

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

 

 

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded to your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Temporary denylist of IP addresses associated with repeated failed transactions. This denylist persists for a small number of hours.

Temporary denylist of credit cards associated with denylisted IP addresses. This denylist persists for a small number of days.
